benmov is a free app with short vertical series. You do not need an account: we do not ask for your name, email address or phone number. The app is funded by advertising.

3. Data stored only on your device

The app stores your chosen language, “My list”, your watch progress, your “likes” and your settings only on your device. This data is not sent to us. You can delete your history in More → Clear watch history, or delete everything by uninstalling the app.

4. Delivering the content

To show and play the series, the app connects to the following service providers. They process technically necessary data such as your IP address, device type, operating system and the time of the request (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in delivering the app’s content):

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We show ads through Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). AdMob may process your device’s advertising ID, your IP address (to estimate an approximate location), device information and information about your interaction with ads.

When you first open the app in the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent using Google’s consent form (User Messaging Platform, IAB TCF). Personalised ads are only shown with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); without consent, non-personalised ads may be shown. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in More → Ad privacy settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

When you share a series or the app, the app uses your device’s share function; you decide what you share and with whom. Links (for example to Google Play) open external services, which have their own privacy policies.

When you visit benmov.com, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, browser, time of access) to deliver the website securely. We do not use tracking cookies on this website. Your language choice is saved only in your browser.

benmov is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
